About Traditional Karate Center

Traditional Karate Center has been offering instruction and training in Karate since 1994. With locations in Staten Island, New York, and Matawan, New Jersey (opened November 1, 2008), we have produced champions in life as well as in the martial arts.

Headed by Michael Buttermark-shihan (5th Degree Black Belt - Shihan Renshi) and a staff of expert instructors including Robert Bronisevsky-sensei (4th Degree Black Belt - Jokyo); and Torsen (TJ) Johnson-sensei (3rd Degree Black Belt - Shidoin) TKC offers Staten Island's most comprehensive Karate education available.

   TKC has Introductory Offers...
   
   At TKC, we want to make sure that you fully understand what your karate experience will be like beyond an introductory offer. Your level of comfort with our instructors, training regiment and curriculum is important to us; therefore, we do offer a brief ONE FREE CLASS and a very inexpensive, month-long trial membership. This is similar to a 'probationary period' in which our students evaluate the value of our programs, instructors and facility. Likewise, our instructors are also better able to evaluate whether or not you, or your child, is in the appropriate program for them.
